Broker's Comments
The Yarmouth 22 stands out as a true 'pocket cruiser'. With her navy blue hull, sweet lines and teak deck the boat looks great too.
For her 22 feet, the cockpit gives plenty of space to sail the boat from, also allowing enough room for passengers to enjoy the experience, without getting in the way. Inside the boat I was surprised to find a full size fore-peak double vee, plenty big enough for two adults. There is a neat little sink to starboard, opposite a compact 1 burner, gas cooker.
Looking aft, one will find two quarter berths, again providing plenty of leg room for the average size adult.
The sails present well and appear to have plenty of use left yet. Main sail cover and spray-hood show like new, as does the tiller and winch covers.
I started the engine which fired with the first turn of the key and ran smoothly without issue. The engine shows well with a clean bilge and no obvious oil or water leaks.
Despite her modest size, there certainly is plenty to like about this good-looking little cruiser. Her full displacement keel adds to the feel of a bigger boat and aids her sailing performance.
An all-round, fun and great looking little cruiser, presented in a clean and functional state.
Note, the boat was sold recently but due to sad circumstance surrounding ill health, is presented for sale again.
