Broker's Comments
The GK 24 was the first Westerly solely designed to attract racing owners seeking performance over general cruising. Interestingly these boats where offered in various stages of completion allowing the prospective buyer a chance to personalize the boat, usually internally. As a result GK Blues is fairly basic below decks. The layout comprises two single berth spaces aft and a forward vee berth space. There is a simple sink unit with wood surround. There is also a sea toilet to starboard with small wash basin opposite. In contrast the boat is well equipped for sailing/racing with a practical running rig layout and standing rigging that appears to be in good functional order.
Here is a boat that would make an excellent weekend racer. With enough input there is also plenty of potential to improve the interior for overnight stays. A great match for a modest budget.
