Broker's Comments
This is a beautiful example of the Scruffie Marine design kit and, though described as a very capable sea boat, she has only had limited use on the Lakes, to date.
She has a shallow, lead encapsulated keel which makes her very stable. Loose footed main (no boom to bang your head on!), furling genoa and even a storm jib. Ample accommodation is provided by the cuddy and a made to measure canvas tent.
She was begun in 2006 and completed in 2011 but has had as little as just 7 days sailing in the time since completion. Although a "home-build", she's been assembled by a very experienced yacht builder and she is his third build. All major assemblies were made by the manufacturer, in Australia!
On a purpose made road/launch trailer, with anchors, bailer, paddles and fenders included, all you need are life jackets and a number plate!
I can highly recommend taking a close look at this lovely boat and the Owner will consider all reasonable offers. As age marches on, he can no longer manage to sail her and prefers to spend time on his motorboat.
