Broker's Comments
Robert Tucker is known for designing boats with a good reputation at sea and sailing performance. The current owner of this design confirms these characteristics in their ownership. This boat is constructed of wood and sheatherd ply, with a Cutter, Ketch rig sailplan and 4 cylinder Yanmar marine diesel to push her along. The cockpit has a deep and reasurring feel, with wide side decks and a foredeck comfortable to work on. Down below, the interior is roomy and influenced by charming wooden floors, cabinets and trim. There is a spacious navigation station, galley, saloon and forward cabin. The shower and heads are both separate and further aft are two sizeable quarter berths.
The boat has been affected by some delamination under the waterline, which is detailed in this advert. Consequently there is work necsearry to repair the hull and prepare the boat prior to launch. This sale has been priced to take account of the potential cost of this work. This boat has great potential as an extended cruiser and or liveaboard that is full of traditional sailing character. Once the necesarry work has been completed, this boat would make an ideal platform for crusing and living afloat. If you would like any further information, or to arrange a personal viewing of this boat, then please do contact our office and we would be pleased to help.
