Broker's Comments
A Great British classic, one of the builders that pioneered the way for ordinary families to get out on the water safely and comfortably. The Moody 27 sums up the very ethos of British leisure cruising.
This particular boat seems to have all the virtues and none of the vices of the breed – she certainly is not a “floating caravan!”
The saloon is spacious and comfortable and the galley is well laid out and safe. She is clean and entirely free of clutter and ready for the next owner to move in.
New rigging in 2007, so no worries on survey or with pernickety insurance companies! Her in-mast furling main was new in December 2013, and as you would expect from such a modern sail, she has vertical battens. The Genoa was also new in 2010. Oh – while I am banging on about new things, her headlinings were all replaced in 2010, there’s another thing you won’t have to get stuck in to!
She has all the basic gear you need for navigation; GPS, decent cockpit instruments, and a decent sprayhood to keep the Great British summer out of the cockpit!
That is enough for now, this is a really nice boat, an ideal first cruiser or a step up from something smaller maybe? Come and see her, she is well worth the trip.
