Broker's Comments
I was impressed from the moment I went on board this Malo 36.
She has obviously been very well maintained, and with a high standard of the quality of build from Malo is evident from the overall appearance. The woodwork is in excellent condition.
The cockpit tent (conservatory) gives the already extensive interior further accommodation no matter what the weather. The owner has confirmation from Malo Yachts UK that she was built in 1986 in Sweden as a Malo 106 and rebranded as a Malo 36 for the benefit of markets outside Sweden in particular the UK where boat names based on metres meant nothing to the market.
70 such boats were produced between 1984 and 1988. In 1988 the model was replaced with the Malo 38.
She is quite different to and should not be confused with the later Malo 36 which was produced from 1996 to 2006.
These boat details are subject to contract.
