Broker's Comments
What a rare treat it is these days, to list a yacht that has been so thoroughly maintained and diligently prepared for sale by her fastidious owner. Of the Macwester stable, the Rowan Crown has long been a favourite of mine. She could almost be described as the perfect 24 footer for our area of strong tides and drying harbours. Rugged, comfortable and sea-kindly, with her long keel and bilge plates, few other yachts are as handy or safe in this size range and all reports indicate that they do sail well, as well! Furthermore, this example comes with a pristine Yanmar diesel for plugging those tides or for when the wind dies. Her present owner is a thoroughly professional yachtsman; he and his wife spent nine years circumnavigating the globe (on a larger yacht I might add!) and after that adventure he decided to 'swallow the anchor' and take up farming.
But, the itch returned. A smaller yacht (this one) was purchased and now he's looking for something larger! Her owner is in no rush to sell but a mooring at Dale is also available by separate negotiation for the successful purchaser. Any offer must be close to the asking price as this really is an EXCEPTIONAL example of this sturdy 24 footer.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
