Broker's Comments
Between 1983 and 1999 this well designed, sturdy and very capable, blue water cruiser took an extended cruise around the world, both 'living the dream' and 'enjoying the journey' along the way. She comes with a record of far away ports & anchorages where Christmases were spent and it’s hard not to get the travel bug when you read about this.
A comprehensive & professional rebuild was carried out during 2015-2016, which, whilst greatly improving her condition, has maintained both her lovely original character and her practicality for living aboard for long periods of time.
The deck is clean and uncluttered whilst the cockpit feels safe and well protected from the elements by the solid screen/cockpit roof.
Down below she is fitted out in a mixture of solid teak, mahogany, iroko and Columbian pine, which gives her a timeless and homely character. The space is utilised well with separate galley and heads. The saloon has a generous dining and living area as well as a pilot berth tucked behind a shelving unit. The fore cabin has a large double berth & attached office / workshop area and the whole vessel is fitted out with purpose built stowage for all that’s required for extended cruising and living aboard.
Easily handled by two, this ketch rigged cutter comes with furling genoa, staysail, main and mizzen. Hydro-vane self steering is also fitted, as is a fully reconditioned Perkins engine. She requires a cooker and possibly a fridge, although there is a well insulated cool box already fitted.
This vessel is VAT paid and has correspondence from HM Customs and Excise to back this up.
This Endurance 35 is looking for new owners to explore, dream and discover. She would also make a lovely live aboard if you fancied berthing somewhere nice for a time.
