Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are pleased to offer this 38ft Dutch Barge for sale with London residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16.

This cosy barge is a very affordable option to get into London's most desirable liveaboard marina. With mooring fees far lower than the other marinas in this part of London.

The hull was overplated in 2020 and recent extensive works to the internal hull and shell - including rust treatment, spray foam insulation to the wall and ceiling and Rockwell insulation to the floor, re panelling the main cabin and new electric cabling, at a cost of £12,000.

There is also a survey report available from 2020.

To complete the interior project - the cabin (bedroom) interior needs to be improved, gas will require reconnection and a hot water system to be added. Allowing you to finish the decor to your own style.

The main living area is filled with light thanks to the large windows. The cabin and seating area have restricted headroom, common in Dutch Barges of this design.

This barge is sold with a transferable residential mooring. Current mooring fees are £7,418 per annum plus a 10% transfer fee on the final sale price, payable to the marina management.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. These boat details are subject to contract.
