These boats are known to be solid yet comfortable performance cruisers.
Like all yachts from Dehler, the hull is bonded to the decks making her stronger and more rigid. To highlight this Dehler made a crash test film some years ago, sailing a Dehler 31 into various, floating solid objects (Search Dehler crash test)
This particular boat has been with the same owner for several years and sailed regularly across the channel to France and the Channel Islands as well as in and around the Solent.
She has very comfortable accommodation with the saloon bench seats transforming into 2 very large single berths very easily and quickly thanks to some great design work.
The forward cabin is a good size as is the aft berth, which can both be classed as doubles.
