About Spyros Spyridakis
I started working with Boatshed Greece in September 2021.
What did you do before working with Boatshed?
During my early employment years I worked in the metallurgy industry, but soon I realised that the naval, shipbuilding and ship trade business is my true passion. I have worked in this field since 2016, when I started as a junior naval architect for a shipbuilding firm. I then went on to be promoted to the leading designer and surveyor.
During this time, I worked as a volunteer naval design teacher for nautical school, I passed my license as a surveyor for a Greek register of shipping and later on I obtained the megger tester certificate of competency.
All during these years I never stopped learning, training and watching seminars about the industry.
In general, my experience comes from a variety of projects both technical and administrative and I have a strong passion for what I do.
What attracted you to become part of the Boatshed team?
Meeting customers and chatting about boats.
Are you a motorboater or a sailor?
I love both!
What is your most memorable boating experience?
I can't decide!
