About Ioanna Nanopoulou
I started working with Boatshed Greece in December 2022.
I was born in Volos, a seaside town in Central Greece and still live here. I started sailing at the age of 7 and since then my love for sailing has grown steadily.
What did you do before working with Boatshed?
Although my studies were in interior architecture and I work as an interior designer, since 2015-the year my family decided to invest in a sailing yacht- I have been running a yacht charter business single-handedly. I have also been an elected representative of the Volos Yacht Owners Association for 7 years.
What attracted you to become part of the Boatshed team?
The idea behind and the modus operandi of Boatshed, the fact that the company wants objective reports on available yachts, and the fact that I was the owner of a second-hand yacht and am now the owner of a brand new one, were the factors which attracted me to Boatshed.
Are you a motorboater or a sailor?
Definitely a sailor
What is your most memorable boating experience?
The most vivid memories and memorable moments of sailing can be traced back to my teen years as an athlete sailor. However, every time I sail, I enjoy the sea, scenery, and unique moments they offer.
